It is our great pleasure to invite you to join the First Croatian Summer School on Medicinal Chemistry (CSSMC Rijeka 2025) for an educational and inspiring training in both the foundational principles and the state of the art in medicinal chemistry—a discipline at the heart of modern drug discovery and development. Medicinal chemistry bridges the gap between chemistry, pharmacology, biology, and medicine, playing a pivotal role in the designing and optimizing molecules that treat diseases and improve human health. As the demand for novel therapeutics continues to grow, so does the need for skilled researchers capable of navigating the complexities of the drug design process—from target and hit identification through lead optimization to preclinical testing.

The first CSSMC brings together experienced medicinal chemists and experts in drug discovery to offer an intensive four-day training program on various concepts, approaches, and techniques used in the discovery and design of novel drugs and biologically active molecules. This summer school is designed for doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, early-career researchers, and professionals in chemistry, pharmacy, biology, and related fields. Through a combination of lectures, workshops, case-studies, round table discussions, interactive sessions, and social events, CSSMC Rijeka 2025 participants will explore topics such as drug targets, chemical synthesis, biological characterization of mechanisms of action, ADME optimization and computational AI/ML and molecular modeling. The program aims to equip attendees with practical knowledge and skills to advance their careers and contribute to new scientific discoveries.

All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.

Registration

The minimum information we need to register you is your name, email address and a password. We will ask you more questions for different services, including sales promotions. This also allows us to personalise services for you.
